International Reiki Community Work

In 2007 I was proud to have organised the International House of Reiki World Tour's UK leg of the tour. See the IHOR World Tour page for details of what was an amazing opportunity to study with Frans Stiene (co-author of renowned Reiki books and tools). The course took place in Maldon and was open to those wishing to take the step to Reiki Master/Teacher level and to those who were already Reiki Master/Teacher but who wished to expand their knowledge and energetic connection.

2008

Well what a year once again. I met many wonderful, wonderful people (both students and teachers!) on my journey this year. It was an interesting one and one that saw the start of a new path for me and many changes in my life. Owing to this 2009 courses are being arranged for requested dates rather than to a set timetable. This is to allow me to build on some of the other sides to my Reiki and to further grow, at least thats the plan! I look forward to meeting many more wonderful students and teachers throughout 2009.

2009

This year has seen a progression in my energy work to becoming a fledgling medium, I have been fortunate enough to have been given a few oportunities to work on platform as a fledgling to Jeanie Jackson. Although daunting at first I found it to be a very rewarding experience.

I also attended an 'Animal Communication Workshop' with one of my student Reiki Master/Teacher's (Claire Hodder), it was a truly fantastic couple of weekends and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in working with animals.

Having the addition of a Weimaraner to our household has also given me ample opportunity to experience energy! He is an extremely energy sensitive soul and it has been a steep steep learning curve having enter himour fold. Being a very high energy and excitable soul he has benefited greatly from Reiki, I have been seen to lay him down on a working trials day and give him Reiki then and there to settle his excitable nature (to great affect I might add!). I am sure he has many lessons to teach me yet.

I am once again fortunate enough to be attending the International House of Reiki Shinpiden course, to be held in the Cotswolds in October. I feel very blessed to have been enabled to attend once again and am very very excited about expanding my knowledge, gaining a deeper level of understanding and building on the foundations of my energy work once more!

On my return from the Cotswolds I am due to give a talk on Animals and Reiki at the Weimaraner Association open show  -

It will be my first 'live' talk on Reiki where I havent been hidden behind a mike out of the way so I am hoping that Reiki will help calm those nerves and that everyone attending will take something positive from the talk.

2010

During 2010 I am hoping to give a talk on animals and energy work (with Claire Hodder, Reiki Master/Teacher) on behalf of a local (Basildon based) dog training class and at their request.

As predicted my Weimaraner had many more lessons to teach me in 2009 and I wonder what is to come in 2010, it is certainly an energetic challenge sharing your life with such a sensitive soul.

I thoroughly enjoyed my repeat Shinpiden during 2009 and again this gave me alot of food (and energy) for thought, many of the things that came up were related to the animal work I have been experiencing. I would definately like to continue to learn and grow in my work with animals during 2010 and hope to be guided along those lines.

I will also be dedicating a large portion of time to a CD venture so watch this space.....
